Description
A Brut champagne with a seductive richness and aromatic expression
The estate
In 2006, Armand de Brignac unveiled its first cuvée, Brut Gold, a unique and prestigious wine that boasts the excellence of Champagne.
The vineyard
The Armand de Brignac champagnes stem from the Champagne region's prestigious crus, located in the Montagne de Reims (Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses and Ludes).
The wine
Released in 2006, the first Armand de Brignac champagne, Brut Gold, was given the title of the best champagne in the world by the Fine Champagne magazine.
This modern-day luxury champagne is presented in an opaque bottle covered with a layer of metal with a gold sheen. Meticulously applied by hand, the bottle is adorned with a French pewter label, featuring the brand's iconic "Ace of Spades".
The dosage of this champagne is 9.5 grams per litre.
The vinification and ageing
Harvested by hand. Only the first and freshest portion of the cuvée is kept for the production of this champagne. During disgorgement, the addition of still wines, aged for 1 year in French oak barrels, conjures up a delicious complexity.
The blend
Pinot Noir (40%)
Chardonnay (40%)
Pinot Meunier (20%)
This champagne comprises a blend of the 3 last harvested vintages.
