Description
The elegance, complexity and power of a Blanc de Blancs champagne
The estate
In 2006, Armand de Brignac unveiled its first cuvée, Brut Gold, a unique and prestigious wine that boasts the excellence of Champagne.
The vineyard
The Armand de Brignac cuvées are produced from HVE 3 certified vineyards located in prestigious Champagne crus.
The wine
In keeping with the Champagne region’s traditional blending techniques, this cuvée has been produced since 2008 and comprises a blend of three vintages (2009, 2010 and 2012).
Produced from vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims, this modern-day luxury champagne is presented in an opaque bottle covered with a layer of metal. Meticulously applied by hand, the bottle is adorned with a French pewter label, featuring the brand's iconic "Ace of Spades".
The dosage for this champagne is 8 grams per litre.
Vinification and ageing
Manual harvesting. Only the cuvée is kept for the elaboration of this champagne in order to develop a soft texture and a balanced acidity. Upon disgorgement, the addition of a liqueur de tirage comprising the finest base wine of the harvest, aged for one year in French oak barrels, gives a delicious complexity with pastry, toasted and vanilla notes.
The blend
Chardonnay (100%).
