A blanc de noirs champagne with an innovative design
The estate
Inheritors of 250 years of wine history, Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son, Alexandre, are the craftsmen behind the cuvées of the Champagne House Armand de Brignac. Imagined by André Courrèges, the bottles of the property's cuvées stand out for their bold design, remarkable proportions and their iconic Ace of Spades engraved on a French pewter label.
Every day, only about twenty bottles are meticulously handcrafted, demonstrating the artisanal approach of the property.
The vineyard
The Armand de Brignac cuvées are made from HVE 3 certified vineyards located on prestigious Champagne crus.
The wine
This champagne is the result of a careful selection of grapes from the best pinot noir villages classified Premier and Grand Cru. Among these exceptional terroirs are Chigny-les-Roses, Verzenay, Rilly-la-Montagne, Verzy, Ludes, Mailly Champagne, as well as Ville-sur-Arce in the Aube region. This unique cuvée results from a harmonious blend of three carefully selected vintages (2013, 2014, 2015).
Vinification and ageing
Made from a meticulous blend of three vintages, the wine then rests for 7 years in the cellars before being disgorged, here on April 20, 2023. The Armand de Brignac Blanc de Noirs A4 has only 7,328 numbered bottles.
Blend
Pinot Noir (100%).
