Description
The complexity and refinement of a Brut Champagne by Armand de Brignac
The estate
In 2006, Armand de Brignac unveiled its first cuvée, Brut Gold, a unique and prestigious wine that boasts the excellence of Champagne.
The vineyard
The Armand de Brignac cuvées are produced from HVE 3 certified vineyards located in prestigious Champagne crus within the Montagne de Reims (Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes).
The wine
Armand de Brignac's Brut Green Edition is a cuvée commemorating the Masters Golf Tournament, also known as The Masters, one of the four main international professional golf tournaments. The green colour of the bottle refers to the colour of the jacket awarded each year to the champions of this iconic tournament since 1949.
This modern-day luxury champagne is presented in an opaque bottle covered with a layer of metal. Meticulously applied by hand, the bottle is adorned with a French pewter label, featuring the brand's iconic "Ace of Spades".
Vinification and ageing
Hand-picked. Only the cuvée is kept for the elaboration of this champagne in order to develop a soft texture and a balanced acidity. Upon disgorgement, the addition of a liqueur de tirage comprising the finest base wine of the harvest, aged for one year in French oak barrels, gives a delicious complexity with pastry, toasted and vanilla notes.
The blend
Pinot Noir (40%)
Chardonnay (40%)
Pinot Meunier (20%)
