Champagne Salon is the fruit of a man’s willingness, Aimé Salon. Passionate about the Mesnil terroir, this unique figure created his dream Champagne: a Blanc de Blancs that is unique in every possible way.
This Blanc de Blancs stems from a single terroir, the Côte des Blancs, from a single vineyard, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, from a single grape variety, Chardonnay and from a single year. Thus, these wines are always vintage Champagnes.
Produced from rigorously selected plots, Salon champagne, produced in very limited quantities, is recognised by connoisseurs for its extreme finesse, aromatic richness and elegance.
Salon is now part of the Laurent-Perrier group and continues to share its ambitions and resources with its neighbouring house, Delamotte, both of which are managed by Mr Didier Depond. The same vineyard located in Mesnil-sur-Oger and the same Cellar Master, Michel Fauconnet, contribute to the development of the House and to the elaboration of unique Champagne cuvées that enjoy an international reputation.
