The vineyard

Finca Piedra Infinita Supercal Malbec 2019 is a wine produced in the heart of the sumptuous Valle de Uco. Majestic mountains, verdant valleys and sublime rivers winding through the vineyards - it's in this idyllic setting, at the foot of the Andes mountain range, that the estate thrives.

This cuvée comes from soil formed by the accumulation of sediments from the Tunuyán river, a mosaic of terroirs mainly made up of limestone. The best plots have been selected, in particular those with a sandy, silty layer between 20 and 60 centimetres thick.

Winemaking and ageing

The grapes are carefully harvested by hand, with each bunch chosen for its quality. The must is transported to the vats by gravity, a gentle method that preserves the integrity of the grapes and limits oxidisation. Fermentation takes place in concrete vats, under the influence of indigenous yeasts to bring out the authentic expression of the terroir. Finally, the wine is also aged in concrete vats, giving it remarkable complexity and finesse.
