Certified for organic farming and in the process of conversion to biodynamic agriculture since 2015, Château Mazeyres represents a successful combination of traditional Bordeaux know-how and a forward-looking approach.

Located on the western and southern terraces of the Pomerol appellation, Château Mazeyres is blessed with an exceptional terroir, perfect for the production of great wines. The vineyard benefits from a combination of different soils, combining fine clay-gravel with clay-sand and sandy gravelly clay.

The First Wine of the estate, the Château Mazeyres 2017 perfectly expresses the complexity and the tyical characteristics of its terroir of origin, revealing the unique personalities of the Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot comprising the blend.

Product of a particularly challenging vintage, which presented a devastating frost at the end of April 2017, the Château Mazeyres 2017 reveals the elegance of a delicate and floral profile, subtly enhanced with smoky and spicy notes.
