The vineyard
True to the mountainous landscapes of Switzerland, the vineyards of the Valais are characterised by their steep terraces, with impressive and vertiginous slopes. The diversity of this remarkable environment and the climate that makes it up promise grapes of remarkable ripeness. Indeed, the Foehn, a warm wind from the Alps, plays a major role in the development of the grapes in the Valais vineyards.
Dôle Coteaux de Sierre 2022 is produced in the Valais appellation on hillsides situated at an altitude of 600 to 800 metres.
