Description
The fruit and balance of a Willamette Valley red wine
The estate
The Nicolas Jay winery sprang from the friendship between Jean-Nicolas Méo, a Burgundian winemaker and Jay Boberg, an American music producer.
Located in the heart of the North Willamette Valley in Oregon, the estate tends to a terroir composed mainly of old vines. Moreover, relationships with partner winegrowers, who farm their vineyards organically and biodynamically, ensure the supply of high-quality grapes.
The vineyard
Nicolas Jay's 2019 Pinot Noir Ensemble is a Willamette Valley wine that stems from a rigorous selection of both estate and partner vineyards, all of which are certified organic, biodynamic or LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Enology).
An authentic and refined expression of the unique features of each vintage and each terroir, this wine is also an interpretation of the philosophy and diligence advocated by the estate throughout the winemaking process.
