Louis Latour’s 2006 Batard-Montrachet Grand Cru carries a good balance between quality and power on the nose. Rich aromas are combined with subtle hints of hazelnut and roasted coffee beans. This Batard-Montrachet is a powerful Burgundy, with well-developed properties. A few years in the cellar will unveil many more qualities of this undoubtedly remarkable wine.
