Description
A fresh and balanced Blanc de Blancs champagne
The property
The family-owned Franck Bonville Champagne House traces its origins back to 1900 with Alfred Bonville who, as a visionary, acquired plots just a few years after the devastation of phylloxera on the Champagne vineyards.
The house experienced significant growth after 1945 thanks to Franck Bonville, who expanded the size of the vineyard and began marketing the first cuvées under his name.
The third generation, Gilles Bonville and his wife, gradually modernized the winemaking tools from 1970 onwards. After joining his parents in 1996, Olivier Bonville paid increased attention to a moment conducted with respect for the environment.
The vineyard
The Unisson Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru cuvée from Franck Bonville is made from grapes grown in the Avize vineyards, an emblematic terroir of Champagne. The name of this cuvée refers to its blend of two harvest years (2016 and 2017). The dosage of this Brut champagne is 6.7 g/L.
