The producer
Since its creation in 1818 by the spouses Elisabeth Salmon and Nicolas-François Billecart, the Billecart-Salmon Champagne House has remained independent, preserving all of its know-how and the high quality of its vintages for 7 generations.
The vineyard
The Billecart-Salmon vineyard stretches from the Côte des Blancs to the Montagne de Reims and covers almost 100 hectares. The vines are cultivated and cared for in the traditional manner in order to get as close to the authentic fruit as possible and to reflect the quality of the Champagne region’s terroir.
Vinification and ageing
Ageing on lees. 48 months in the cellar. No-dosage champagne.
The blend
Pinot Meunier from the Marne Valley and the Coteaux Sud d'Épernay (40%), Chardonnay from the Marne (30%), Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims and the Grand Vallée de la Marne (30%)

The tasting
Brut Nature by Billecart-Salmon seduces with its intense pale gold colour. The complex bouquet seduces the nose with complex notes ranging from floral to fruity with a hint of brioche. On the palate, Billecart-Salmon's Brut Nature is full and harmonious. A slight mineral tension balances this fine Champagne wine.

It is recommended to serve Brut Nature by Billecart-Salmon at a temperature between 10 and 11°C. This Champagne wine that can be kept for 5 or 6 years.
