The producer
Pyla Vodka is produced by Valdronne, a subsidiary of the Bernard Group. Specialised in distillation since 1928, the Bernard family has been developing numerous wine and spirits-related activities for 4 generations.
The wine
Indeed, this vodka is unique due to its name, referring to the seaside town of Pyla and its emblematic dune. It also undergoes a unique filtration on oceanic sand coming from the Bay of Arcachon.
Vinification and ageing
This vodka is made from French wheat. The fermented wheat must is distilled in five stages to attain an incredible purity, before being blended at low temperature with spring water from the 55-million-year-old Massif Central, enabling this vodka to have very little minerality. The final stage of production is its filtration on oceanic sand from Pyla.

Nose
The nose blends subtle peppery and liquorice fragrances with aromatic Mediterranean notes and aromas of pine cones.
