The estate

Located in the Sangiovese region of Chianti, Tenuta Sette Ponti charms visitors with its timelessly beautiful Tuscan landscapes and its terroir, which produces fine wines.

This estate, whose name resonates with the seven bridges linking the banks of the Arno between Florence and Arezzo, started a new chapter in its history in the 1950s when the Moretti Cuseri family acquired 50 hectares of land.

Tenuta Sette Ponti produces sophisticated and elegant wines that are recognised as being among the finest Italian wines.

The vineyard

Tenuta Sette Ponti reigns over more than 300 hectares of land, 54 of which are planted with vines. This exceptional vineyard is planted on a mosaic of soils whose different topologies and altitudes make the estate unique.

The wine

Oreno 2020 by Tenuta Sette Ponti is an IGT Toscana wine that stems from a vineyard located in the heart of Tuscany, where the vines are 20 to 30 years old on average.

The vintage

A cool, windy winter with average rainfall preceded a spring whose mildness favoured the early development of the vines. The hot summer was punctuated by rainy spells that saved the vineyard. The harvest was carried out under very good weather conditions.

Vinification and ageing

Fermentation for 25 days with manual punching down. Aged for 18 months in small oak barrels.

Merlot (50%)

Cabernet Sauvignon (40%)

Petit Verdot (10%).
