Description
A Beaune Premier Cru wine from a Jadot family historic plot
The estate
Louis Jadot, established since 1859, is one of the biggest names in Burgundy. Its adventure began with the acquisition of a plot of land in 1826. Its trading activity then quickly allowed it to become known throughout the world. Today and since 1992, the house is managed by Pierre-Henry Gagey, while maintaining the notion of a Burgundy accessible to all those who seek quality wines.
The vineyard
Clos des Ursules is the historic plot acquired in 1826 by Louis Jadot. This walled vineyard is located in the Beaune Premier Cru "Les Vignes Franches," south of Beaune.
