The property
For several generations, the Devillard family has been enhancing the exceptional terroirs of the Côte de Nuits to the Mâconnais through great Burgundy wines known for their finesse and aromatic palette. The Devillard family owns 4 properties, the Domaine des Perdrix, the Château de Chamirey, the Domaine de la Ferté and the Domaine de la Garenne. They are also the origin of various and varied ranges, including Le Renard.
The wine
The Bourgogne Chardonnay from the Le Renard range is a Burgundy wine resulting from a selection by the Devillard family of vineyards expressing with authenticity the aromatic richness of this flagship grape variety of the region.
Vinification and aging
The berries are hand-harvested, then gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels. The aging process lasts for 12 months before bottling.
