The estate

For four generations, Domaine Joseph Drouhin has been a must-know reference among fine Burgundy wines. Founded in 1880 by Joseph Drouhin, who was 22 years old at the time, the estate has expanded over the years and has reached its current size of 80 hectares. The vines spread over renowned appellations (Beaune, Bonnes-Mares, Chassagne-Montrachet, Clos Vougeot, Corton-Charlemagne, Grands-Echezeaux, Pouilly-Fuissé, etc.).

Since 1957, this family of precursors has advocated respect for the terroir and the environment both regarding the vineyard management and the production of their fine wines.

The red and white wines of Domaine Joseph Drouhin authentically express the mosaic and richness of the Burgundian terroirs. They are renowned for their elegance, their intense fruity aromas and their gourmet complexity.

The vineyard

Joseph Drouhin's Saint-Véran Village 2021 is made from vineyards planted on Jurassic limestone soils. This Saint-Véran wine reveals the nuances and identity of this Mâconnais appellation located in southern Burgundy.

Vinification and ageing

The grapes are gently pressed. The juice from the final press is not selected for the making of this wine. Aged for 6 to 8 months in vats.
