Description
Tasting tips for the 2022 Vintage Blanc de Blancs Cuvée from French Bloom
Tasting
Colour
An intense gold colour tending towards old gold, adorned with fine and elegant bubbles.
Nose
The nose reveals great complexity, reminiscent of old Blanc de Blancs, with a spectrum of aromas of caramelised nuts, candied fruits, dry spices, mocha and dried apricot. Notes of toasted bread, vanilla, brioche and tarte tatin are unveiled, with a hint of anise at the end of the mouth.
Palate
A fresh attack precedes a full mouth with a creamy texture. Aromas of mirabelle plum and marmalade mingle up to a finish whose creamy texture and toasted notes offer a complex and unique tasting experience.
Service
We recommend tasting this cuvée chilled, between 2°C and 4°C, in a tulip flute.
A non-alcoholic Blanc de Blancs imbued with complexity and elegance
The property
French Bloom was born in 2019 from the friendship between Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger and Constance Jablonski, two women determined to create a festive non-alcoholic drink. They founded the brand to offer a non-alcoholic sparkling wine, certified organic. The name "French Bloom" reflects the French heritage and innovation. The brand's development was supported by experts from the wine sector, establishing French Bloom as a reference in non-alcoholic sparkling wine.
The vineyard
The chardonnay grapes come from organic vineyards located in the Languedoc. These vineyards benefit from an exceptional terroir with optimal exposure and varied soils that contribute to the aromatic richness of the wines produced. The harvest is carried out two weeks earlier than expected to preserve the freshness and acidity of the grapes.
Vinification and ageing
The majority of the grapes from this cuvée are aged in new 225-litre oak barrels, while a small part is aged in stainless steel tanks for over 6 months. This ageing process is crucial for developing the concentration and aromatic complexity of the wine.
Blend
Chardonnay (100%).
