The estate

Domaine des Campaux is located in the heart of the Môle valley, near Saint-Tropez, in Provence. Since 1934, this family estate has been owned by the Naveau family.

The vineyard

The 34-hectare vineyard faces south and is cultivated on shallow schistose soil. The soil is covered with grass in winter, worked on the superficial layer and stripped under the row. Since 2018, Domaine des Campaux has been showing its commitment to the environment by converting to Organic Farming.

Vinification and ageing

The harvest takes place at night in order to preserve the freshness of the harvested grapes. The grapes are then taken to the cellar to be pressed directly. The settled juice undergoes a low temperature fermentation. Racking leads to the preservation of the fine lees which accompany the wine throughout its ageing period. Domaine des Campaux's 2020 Les Cannissons rosé wine is bottled as the season progresses in order to guarantee its taste and freshness. Very few sulphites are added.

The blend

Produced in the Côtes de Provence appellation, Domaine des Campaux's 2020 Les Cannissons rosé is made from a blend of Grenache (58%), Cinsault (21%), Syrah (13%) and Carignan (8%).

Colour

This 2020 Les Cannissons rosé by Domaine des Campaux has a brilliant pale pink colour.

Nose

Fine and complex, the bouquet reveals aromas of citrus fruits and white flesh fruits. When aerated, peppery notes emerge.

Palate

The palate is seduced by this wine’s balance, density and persistent finesse on the finish.
