The production of Dom Ruinart champagne
The production process for this aromatic expression is highly complex and exact. Only carefully hand-picked grapes from terroirs classified as Grand Cru are selected for the Dom Ruinart cuvées. The grape varieties used are Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, as well as from historic Grand Crus such as Sillery.
Harvested by hand, in sumptuous, temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, with the dosage incredibly precise, aged for close to a decade in precious caskets that lie dormant in the heart of the house's chalk pits, a UNESCO World Heritage Site: The Dom Ruinart cuvée follows every stage of a winemaking process that has a prestige equalled only by its precision.

Among the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs champagnes, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is the historic cuvée. Created in 1959, it pays homage to the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart, who was none other than the bold, innovative spirit who founded the house. A veritable ode to the beauty of Chardonnay when it is magnified in great years, this cuvée impresses with its delicacy and refinement. Its shimmering colours delight the eye with sublime golden highlights, the bouquet is intoxicating with its delicately intense fragrances combining flowers and fruit, and finally, the famous Ruinart taste reveals a delicious and refreshing balance that invites you to prolong the pleasure of a single sip.
