The estate

In 2008, the Cuvelier family, owners of Clos Fourtet, a Saint-Emilion Premier Grand Cru Classé, acquired Château Poujeaux. Since then, the beautiful Médoc estate has undergone a real renaissance. Managed by Mathieu Cuvelier and Christophe Labenne, the vinification process is carried out under the guidance of the consultant-oenologist Stéphane Derenoncourt, Château Poujeaux is one of the finest references in the Moulis appellation, located on the left bank of Bordeaux.

The vineyard

Situated in the north-east of the Moulis-en-Médoc appellation, the vineyard of Château Poujeaux spreads across a 70-hectare single-block of vines. This harmonious terroir/grape variety relationship gives rise to fine Moulis wines that combine a dense and elegant

The grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.
