Third Grand Cru Classé in the Official Classification of 1855, Château Palmer is a true star of the Margaux appellation, on the left bank of the Bordeaux region. With the beginnings of biodynamics initiated in 2009, Château Palmer chose to convert the entire vineyard as of 2014. After building its legend on vintages that have become mythical, Château Palmer continues to write its history under the direction of the talented Thomas Duroux.

The vintage

If great wines are born in great terroirs, it is often said that "great terroirs look at the water". Located in the immediate vicinity of the Gironde estuary, Château Palmer benefited from the protective influence of the river, acting as a climate regulator preserving the property from the disastrous effects of frost during the month of April 2017. The perfect knowledge of the plots and the respectful management of the vineyard in biodynamics then allowed to extract the best of this delicate vintage to offer a precise and authentic expression of the complex terroir of Château Palmer.
