Description
A fruity and silky Côtes de Provence rosé wine
The estate
Located in the heart of Cap Bénat, Château Léoube cultivates its vines, orchards and olive trees on one of the most beautiful protected sites in Europe. Certified ECOCERT since 2011 (with the Agriculture Biologique label), Château Léoube has undertaken a genuine agro-environmental approach.
The vineyard
Located in Provence, the Château Léoube estate covers 560 hectares, 65 of which are vineyards, in a natural hollow that protects them from the Mistral wind. The vineyard is run under certified organic farming methods and with the greatest respect for the environment. The proximity to the ocean, the soils made up of schist and clay, along with cool nights, make ideal conditions for the cultivation of the vines and the development of great quality Côtes de Provence wines.
Winemaking and ageing
The grapes were sorted by plot and harvested by hand. They were lightly crushed in whole bunches, followed by a slow pressing to obtain lightly coloured juice. The extraction of the juice was done under temperature control to preserve the freshness of the wine. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations were carried out in stainless steel vats.
