The estate
Ugo Lequio founded the eponymous winery in 1980 with the ambition of making fine Piedmont wines. Its terroir, located in particular on the hills of the Neive-Borgonovo village, lead to the production of wines that are unanimously renowned for their elegance and broad aromatic range.
The vineyard
This 2015 Langhe Nebbiolo by Ugo Lequio is made from the Castellizzano vineyard in the Treiso area. Planted in 2000, this northwest facing terroir is located at an altitude of 400 metres.
The vinification and ageing
Vinification for 6 to 7 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Aged for 5 to 6 months in French oak barrels.

Colour
The wine is a beautiful ruby red colour with subtle garnet highlights.

The nose gives off delicate fruity notes in a fine manner.

The palate is seduced by the wine’s velvety feel and its beautiful aromatic complexity. Throughout the tasting experience, a fresh sensation is harmoniously combined with a gourmet length.
Service
For an optimal tasting experience, serve at 18°C.
