The producer

Passionate about wine and terroirs, Michel Tardieu created in 1996 with his wife the Domaine Tardieu-Laurent which became over the course of several vintages an indispensable reference among the most beautiful labels of wines of the Rhone Valley.

For two generations, this family estate has highlighted iconic terroirs (Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Condrieu, Hermitage, Vacqueyras, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage…) through aromatic and delicate wines made through a rigorous winemaking process.

The wine

This Cornas Coteaux 2011 of the Domaine Laurent Tardieu, is from the regions of Chaillots, Saint-Pierre and Savaux.

Colour

Bright, the dress is a beautiful red colour, supported by purple reflections.

Nose

The nose is typical of the appellation Cornas, with notes of smoked bacon and crème de cassis.

Palate

The mouth is smooth, full and fresh, thanks to grapes harvested at full maturity.
