The property
Born from a sincere passion for exceptional terroirs, the Domaine Tardieu-Laurent was founded in 1996 by Michel Tardieu and his wife. In a few years, this family house has established itself as a major figure in the Rhône Valley, praised for the quality and consistency of its cuvées.

For two generations, the estate has revealed the richness and uniqueness of the great Rhone appellations - Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Condrieu, Hermitage, Vacqueyras, Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage... - by producing wines of great precision, both refined, complex and marked by their origin.

The wine
Exclusively from renowned terroirs of the Côte Brune - Landonne, Lancement, Chavaroche - the Côte-Rôtie "Vieilles Vignes" is the fruit of vines over 60 years old, planted on steep slopes. Their age and deep rooting give the wine intensity, power and depth.

Vinification and aging
The grapes are vinified whole, without destemming, in order to preserve all the freshness and authenticity of the grape variety. The aging, conducted in two stages, combines 12 months in oak barrels (new and second use) with an additional 12 months in foudres, allowing the wine to acquire finesse, structure and aromatic complexity.

Grape variety
Made up of 100% Syrah, the emblematic grape variety of the appellation, this "Vieilles Vignes" cuvée expresses with purity and distinction all the grandeur of the Côte-Rôtie.
