Description
A balanced and sophisticated Barbaresco red wine
The estate
Located in the Piedmont region of northern Italy, Produttori del Barbaresco was founded in 1958 by the priest of the village of Barbaresco. In fact, in order to protect the small local estates and perpetuate their know-how, he decided to unite the holdings of nineteen small producers by merging them into a common estate. The wines of Produttori del Barbaresco are renowned for their elegance, full-bodied character and wide range of aromas.
The vineyard
Produttori del Barbaresco reigns over a vineyard of 100 hectares. The vines are planted on a mosaic of terroirs composed of clay soils in the heart of the "pre-alpine" hills which are poised at an altitude of between 200 and 400 metres.
