Description
A white wine from Macedonia with an alluring precision and aromatic intensity
The estate
The Pieria Eratini estate was founded in 2006 by three oenologists, Pavlos Argyropoulos, Andreas Pandos and Stelios Pyrpilis.
The 15-hectare estate is located at an altitude of 400 metres in the Mount Olympus region, facing the Aegean Sea.
Bearing an organic certification by the DIO organisation, approved by the Greek Ministry of Agriculture, this exceptional terroir benefits from a mountainous climate which ensures a natural temperature regulation.
Known for their power and generosity, these Macedonia wines exude the aromatic nuances of the native grape varieties (Xinomavro, Assyrtiko, Malagouzia) and French grape varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Syrah) that make up these fine Greek terroirs.
Vinification and ageing
The hand-picked grapes are vinified by variety. Cold maceration before fermentation at low temperature in small stainless steel tanks. Aged in oak and acacia wood barrels.

This Macedonia white wine showcases alluring citrus aromas. The flinty notes of the Assyrtiko are perfectly combined with the roundness and sweetness of the Malagouzia variety and the aromatic richness of the Chardonnay variety.
