Description
The character and the finesse of a Rhône Valley white wine
The estate
Maison Paul Jaboulet-Aîné, the emblematic name behind great wines of the Northern Rhône Valley, was founded in 1834 in Tain-L'Hermitage. Caroline Frey, a renowned oenologist and winemaker, now runs the illustrious house, which was acquired by the Frey family in 2006. Maison Paul Jaboulet-Aîné oversees 125 hectares of vines, spread across exceptional appellations such as Saint-Joseph, Crozes-Hermitage, Hermitage, Cornas, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côte-Rôtie, Condrieu and Beaumes-de-Venise.
The vineyard
Le Chant des Griolles 2018 from Paul Jaboulet-Aîné is a Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise wine that stems from a vineyard run using sustainable farming methods. The vineyard is ideally located on the steep slopes of the Rhône Valley. The diversity of the soils, from granite to limestone, gives the wines a unique range of expressions.
