The freshness and precision of a white wine signed by Mauro Molino
The property
Mauro Molino decided to establish his estate in the early 1980s in La Morra, an emblematic village of Piedmont. Devoted to the cultivation of his vineyard and always in pursuit of excellence, Mauro Molino has managed to bring to life very great Barolo and Barbera d’Alba Superiore that have made his reputation worldwide. True crus, the Italian wines signed by Mauro Molino come from meticulously delimited "single vineyards", reflecting all the typicity of the original terroir that saw them born.
It is on these exceptional terroirs, in the heart of the Langhe, in Italy, that the 12 hectares of his property extend on vines entirely dedicated to the Nebbiolo and Barbera grape varieties. The sublime Le Radici vineyard extends from the foot of the Burio Castle in the municipality of Costigliole, one of the areas particularly destined for the production of Barbera d’Asti. The soil is influenced by clay and limestone.
The wine
Roero Arneis is a Piedmont wine made from vines about 25 years old, facing southeast on sandy soils within the municipality of Vezza d'Alba. Arneis is one of the most emblematic indigenous white grape varieties of Roero, known for its great drinkability and charm.
Vinification and aging
Manual harvest. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel tanks, followed by a short aging also in stainless steel tanks.
Blend
Arneis (100%).
