Palate
The attack is both round and lively, giving way to a full palate, where flavors of pear, granny smith apple and a lemony minerality blend. The finish, tense and crystalline, extends on citrus accents.

A full and lively Bordeaux Blanc Sec
The property
The Château Suduiraut, Premier Cru Classé de Sauternes, has existed since the 16th century. This château with gardens designed by Le Nôtre and a 91-hectare vineyard certified High Environmental Value was taken over in 1992 by AXA Millésimes, which makes a point of preserving and enhancing the know-how and culture of Sauternes wines.
The vineyard
To produce this bordeaux blanc sec, an exceptional terroir was carefully selected within the Château Suduiraut vineyard. This sandy gravel soil, planted with sémillon, sauvignon blanc and sauvignon gris, benefits from the rooting of vines about twenty years old. This ideal combination allows to express all the aromatic richness of the grapes while bringing a dazzling freshness to the wine.
Vinification and aging
Vinification begins with a skin maceration, exclusively reserved for sauvignon blanc and sauvignon gris, the duration of which varies depending on the harvest, ranging between 2 and 12 hours. This is followed by a gentle and prolonged pneumatic pressing, lasting about 2 hours 30, in order to delicately extract the juice. Fermentation then takes place in two distinct phases: 70% of the must is placed in thermoregulated vats, where the temperature is kept between 17 and 22°C, while the remaining 30% is aged in barrels, under identical thermal control.
