The estate
Located in the Hérault department in the commune of Cabrerolles, the Léon Barral estate has been managed by Léon Barral since 1990. A forerunner of environmentally friendly farming practices and constantly seeking utterly high levels of excellence, the Léon Barral estate is heedful of the terroir, the soil, the ecosystem, the grapes and the living species.
The wines of the Léon Barral estate are renowned for their delicate tannic structure and their beautiful freshness.
The vineyard
The Léon Barral estate reigns over a vineyard that spreads over a mosaic of small plots of old vines. Planted on a terroir composed exclusively of schist, the 30 to 80-year-old vines give rise to fine Languedoc wines, produced within the Faugères appellation or IGP Pays de l'Hérault.
