The estate
Owned by Silvio Denz, Château Peby Faugères is a Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Émilion located on the right bank of Bordeaux. Thanks to the efforts and investments made by Silvio Denz, Château Peby Faugères has gradually risen to become one of the most beautiful references of the appellation.
The vineyard
Château Peby Faugères 2021 is a Saint-Emilion wine that stems from a 7.45-hectare vineyard. The vines are planted on a clay-limestone hillside (a vineyard all in one piece) and enjoy a south / southeast orientation.
Vinification and ageing
Vatting for 30 days in concrete and stainless steel vats and barrels. The wine is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (50% new and 50% second-fill barrels).
