The vineyard

This Château Léoville Las Cases 2023 is a Saint-Julien wine from a 55-hectare vineyard planted within the famous Clos de Léoville, whose complexity constitutes a true mosaic of terroirs. Located near the Gironde, the vineyard benefits from the river's role as a thermal regulator, ensuring mild temperatures and providing a barrier against frost. Combined with the presence of gravel soils from the Günz resting on subsoils of gravelly-sandy nature with more or less deep clays, the terroir of Château Léoville Las Cases meets all the conditions to produce vintages of legendary stature.
