Latour-Martillac White 2016: a very tasty Pessac-Léognan

Château Latour-Martillac is a Grand Cru Classé of Graves produced in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. The vines are planted on clay-limestone soils and enjoy eastern exposure. The wine is aged in oak barrels, 25% in new barrels. The Château Latour-Martillac White 2016 blends 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon. These white grape varieties were collected under excellent conditions between the 6^th and 20^th of September.

At tasting, the Château Latour-Martillac blanc 2016 reveals a freshness from the clay and limestone soils of the terroirs from which it originates. The Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc manage to preserve a beautiful aromatic freshness and display a balance between alcohol and acidity. The Château Latour-Martillac White 2016 develops beautiful fruity aromas, revealing itself as bold and tasty on the palate.
