Description

The smoothness and fruity expression of a Margaux red wine

The estate

With its elegant neoclassical style, Château Labégorce has been renowned for the quality of its Margaux wines for several centuries. In 1989, the Perrodo family acquired the estate and gave it a new lease of life by bringing out the very best in its great terroir.

The vineyard

The vineyard of Château Labégorce spreads across 70 hectares of vines, on the largest sandy-gravelly and sandy-silty terroirs in the Margaux appellation, on the left bank of Bordeaux.

Vinification and ageing

Vinification in temperature-controlled concrete and stainless steel vats. Aged in French oak barrels (45% new barrels, 55% first-fill barrels).

The blend

Merlot (52%)

Cabernet Sauvignon (38%)

Cabernet Franc (6%)

Petit Verdot (4%).
