Description
A generous Saint-Emilion red wine
The Château Fleur Cardinale is a Grand Cru Classé red wine produced in the Saint-Emilion appellation. The 18-hectare vineyard has vines with an average age of 35-years-old growing in clay-limestone soil. The blend is 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The Château Fleur Cardinale makes the most of its terroir. The wine has a deep, dense red colour. The nose is full of ripe fruit and some light floral notes. The charming and generous palate offers silky tannins that are fit for nobility. The finish offers a lovely length and an overall good balance. This wine has excellent cellaring potential.
This tasting note aims to describe the general style of the wine, so this commentary can vary as the wine evolves with age.
