Owned by the Lurton family since 1992, Château Desmirail has equipped itself with infrastructures that match its terroir, allowing this Cru Classé to reach its highest level.

The vineyard

The vineyard of this essential domain of Margaux extends over about forty hectares cultivated with the utmost respect for the environment through the implementation of sustainable viticulture. The soils are made up of gravel dating from the Quaternary period.

The vintage

Early, the harvest begins on September 17 under ideal conditions. A rainy episode allows to reduce the alcohol content of the latest cabernet sauvignons. The harvest ends on September 29.

Blend

Merlot (50%), cabernet sauvignon (40%) and petit verdot (10%).
