The balance and refinement of a Sauternes wine
The property
Château de Myrat is a family property established in the Sauternes appellation. The wines of this Sauternes Grand Cru Classé seduce with their balance, elegance and refinement.
The vineyard
Château de Myrat reigns over a 22-hectare vineyard located in the Haut-Barsac territory, a clay-limestone plateau on cracked limestone.
Vinification and ageing
The grapes were harvested manually, by successive sorting. Fermentation was carried out in barrels, as was the ageing (40% new oak barrels) for 18 months.
The blend
The Château de Myrat 2020 was made from a blend of Sémillon (96%), Sauvignon Blanc (2%) and Muscadelle (2%).
