The estate

Established in 1966, Château de Chantegrive is part of the Union des Grands Crus in Bordeaux.

The vineyard

The 160 plots of Château de Chantegrive's vineyard cover 46 hectares. The vines are around twenty years old and are planted on a terroir composed of gravel, pebbles and fine sand on clay-limestone soil. This family-owned estate in the Graves region is run in an integrated, precise and passionate manner in order to produce fine Graves wines.

The vintage

The winter and spring (from January to June) were marked by heavy rainfall. Although the summer was hot and dry, the rainfall in September was beneficial and enabled the grapes to ripen again. The harvest was thus able to take place in a calm manner and under ideal weather conditions.
